What services does Holding Hands provide?
Holding Hands offers a range of evidence-based and relationship-driven services for children, adolescents, and individuals with neurodevelopmental differences. Services may include ABA therapy, DIR®/Floortime™, behavioral intervention, social skills groups, counseling, parent training, and individualized support tailored to each person’s needs.
How do I know which service is right for my child?
Choosing the right service starts with understanding your child’s strengths, needs, and goals. Our team works closely with families during the intake and assessment process to recommend services that are the best fit. Many individuals benefit from a combination of approaches rather than a single service.
Are services provided in different settings?
Yes. Depending on individual needs and availability, services can be delivered in a variety of settings, including the home, clinic, school, or community. We work with families to determine the environment where each individual is most comfortable and likely to succeed.
Can services change over time?
Absolutely. Needs and goals evolve, and services are adjusted accordingly. Treatment plans are reviewed regularly to ensure therapy remains meaningful, effective, and aligned with the individual’s development and family priorities.
Do families participate in services?
Family involvement is a key part of our approach. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and collaborate with the clinical team. This partnership helps reinforce skills beyond therapy sessions and supports long-term success.
